Posting etiquette
General etiquette on Usenet is very similar to the necessary behavior for politeness and order in a very large round-table discussion. Two main ideas. (Please read each set!)
- Anybody could be reading when you post
- Anything you post could be read by any portion of a very large number of people. You should remember.....
- Don't be annoying when you post
- You will be jumping into a conversation already in progress. In general you will be welcome if....
