Privacy Statement of MIB SOFTWARE, INC.

MIB SOFTWARE was incorporated in 2012 and is based in Saylorsburg, PA, USA .
Our principal activities since 1993 are Software Development and Consulting.

This privacy policy covers MIB Software, Inc. and its Web site at http://www.mibsoftware.com/

We collect very little personal information, and only what is necessary to serve you.

Non-Billed Visitors

As a natural result of using the web site, some standard items are logged by the web server (your IP address, referring URL, time, and URL requested.) We do not publish these logs. They are used for traffic analysis, indicating problems, and to see what other web sites link to our pages. No attempt is made to cross-reference to personal data at other sites or databases. Cookies may be used to track visitors and logins.

Barring web site vandalism, all of the content and links on this web site were placed there by MIB SOFTWARE. There are links to other web sites which have their own privacy procedures. They are just links; they are not designed to deceive you to give up personal information.

Billed Customers

Some services and areas of the web site are available to customers and clients for a fee and information is required for billing.

We require your email address, which you use as login username. We do not share your email address. We do not send email to promote other services.

The credit card processors require us to collect personal information for identification and verification and to protect your credit card from misuse. They require: Name, Organization, IP address, telephone number, credit card number, expiration date, and billing zip code.

We are careful that personal information is stored so that it does not get misused or transmitted unnecessarily.

  • Personal information is submitted to us on a secure web form (encrypted).
  • Information is transferred over the Internet only when necessary and using encryption.
  • Your data is on machines only temporarily connected to the Internet.
  • As an extra safeguard, only 8 digits (of 16) of the credit card number are permanently stored electronically. In order to process billing, a person must have access to the original printed paper record of your submission to transmit the last 8 digits to the clearing house. These paper records are kept in a secure location which restricts access to certain people.
  • If you request email receipts, you will receive a record of the transaction which shows the card holder name, and only the first 4 digits of the card number (which identifies the bank issuing the card.)
